The Reed PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is proud to be part of the California Sixth District PTA.

The Mission of the California PTA is to positively impact the lives of all children and families.

The Sixth District PTA supports and empowers PTA leaders through training, parent education, financial support, and mentoring, to enable them to advocate more effectively on behalf of children and families.

The annual Reed Elementary School Fall Festival is on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 1pm - 5pm at our school. This event is open to the public.

What is so special about Reed is the community feel of our school. You see it everywhere you turn on campus! We want you to know that the community is what drives the PTA, it is the most important thing, and we are proud of our Reed Family!  You are the heart of the PTA!

C - Communication to the community through Konstella, flyers, the marquee and Facebook

O - Organizing fun events to bring the community together, such as our Book Fair, Fall Festival, Ice Cream Social, Movie Nights, Walk-a-thon and more

M - Music, weekly for all students

M - Multimedia delivered through interactive "smart" boards, computer and software upgrades

U - United in Fundraising efforts. Supporting the Membership Drive,  Walk-a-thon, Book Fair, Fall Festival sponsorships, etc.

N - Nurturing lifelong readers through the purchase of library books and extra classroom resources for teachers

I -  Interests are encouraged in students through Music and Art Vistas

T - Teamwork is working together on behalf of all students and for the community through the Toy Drive, Food Drive, Family Service Night, and Project Cornerstone

Y - YOU are valued members of our AMAZING community, we APPRECIATE your support!!!

Celebrate a special event - birthday, championship, award - with a custom message on the electronic marquee in front of our school. Your message will run for 24-hours.

Donations will help support the PTA-funded programs.

Print and fill out the Marquee Message Form or pick one up and submit to the Reed office.

Thank you for making a difference in your child's education by your investment in Reed Elementary through the PTA. Every donation will enrich your student's learning experiences through teachers, music, science, art, and more. Every student will benefit!

To reach our goal and fully fund all these programs, we ask every family to please consider donating during the membership drive at the beginning of the year. Additional fundraisers through the year will also help us strive to reach our goals for our student community.

Please join us the first Tuesday of the month to plan and implement the many programs PTA makes possible for Reed students. Your involvement and voice do make a difference for our children. Feel free to bring a friend. Hosted in the Reed school library (room B-2) at 6:30p.m. See the Calendar of Events section above for the schedule.

Reed spirit wear is a great way for students and the important adults in their lives to feel like they're part of the Reed community. Wear them on spirit days or any day of the year. Designs change annually, so collect them all!

Yearbooks are a great way to commemorate each year. Yearbooks include portraits, class photos, spirit days, special events and more!

To order Reed spirit wear and yearbooks, order online (spirit wear only), fill out the paper order form in the PTA membership packet, or email: membership@reedpta.com.

Pre-order your Reed yearbook during the membership drive at the beginning of the year. You will get a discount and you won't be left at the end of the year without one. Once they're sold out they're gone so don't miss out!

Let’s all show our school-wide spirit by wearing our Reed t-shirts every Friday.  Don’t have Reed spirit wear?  Wear blue or yellow! There are additional spirit days announced throughout the year such as: tie-dye day, twins day, crazy hair & socks day, pajama day, etc. Be sure to join Konstella to get notified.
